I’ve had a couple of email recently asking what I’m up to.
Which, of course, means that I’ve been remis with my blogging.
I’ve been traveling, sick, growing ever sicker of tooth problems, etc. – but I’ve also been immersed HTML5 App building and helping organizations all around the world get started in building Apps for the Mozilla App store. (https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Apps/Getting_Started)
I still get an email or two a day from people who are just realizing that I’ve left Microsoft.
I’m planning to getting back to writing articles and doing videos in the next few weeks. Though I won’t be doing ASP.NET.)
So, feel free to post your thoughts on what content I should work on.
I’m planning an HTML5 podcast as well.

Heh.. I didn’t even know that you left Microsoft.. but it would make sense with the amount of posts on twitter and here that weren’t asp.net related anymore.. at least that was my experience.
Yes I vote for HTML5 posts.. as that stuff is already the new thing, but will be even more so important over the next few years. I’m also trying to make this switch from html4.x to html5.
I miss your articles and mostly the videos on ASP.NET. It was those videos that convinced me to use ASP.NET and VWD to build the few sites that I do as a hobby. I still can view the old videos on the ASP.NET site and all, but honestly, most of the other presenters put me to sleep. I miss the “In this video…” ‘I’m going to teach you something that 25 other Microsoft employees have tried to teach you, but failed…’ Oh well, I guess this just means that after my ASP.NET hosting contract expires I’ll have to migrate the sites to the Linux based server.
Joe,
HTML5, JQuery and/or any JS FW handling data, all for mobile.
Thanks in advance.

Unrelated: Just noticed posts show GMT instead of local.
What is your server side platform preference going to be? PhP? Ruby (on Rails)? Node?
I would like to see videos on any of the other server side languages (well maybe not php)..
I Joe

calling back all search parties…
Joe,
I have learned a lot from you in .NET and want to learn more from you about server level development. And as others have stated, you have presented excellent video in .NET.
My request for you is to create a server series like your .NET series on PHP. I have not even started using it yet, so starting off with some intro videos possibly setting up and then building on that from there would be helpful.
Naturally HTML5 would come into the mix. I also would not mind some Python added to the presentations as I am fairly new at that as well.
Last, don’t forget JavaScript Frameworks and Styling; they would be excellent for advanced topics.
Thanks.

Please start a series of HTML 5 CSS 3 video for beginner as your asp.net video.
thanks
Hi Joe,
How are you. Kindly take care of health sir. Since, you have left Microsoft and you won’t be doing any ASP.net videos. However, its my request to create a series of videos from the beginning in HTML-5 like .net series.
Thanks,
Rahul

Get well soon if you haven’t already!
