Since I had many emails from folks about my previous post I thought I’d post this update from my Iranian “little brother”.

Thanks to all our American brothers and sisters who’ve been supporting us , I have always said ,there’s no better friend for Iranians than American people.
We’ve been trying to show the world that we’re not bunch of terrorists and losers and we’re not the same as our GOVERNMENT, and i think we did what we could,but I’m afraid that after the rallies stopped people of the world start thinking “that’s it” and people accepted the lost of the election!!!
But i have to tell you that we are STRONGLY under the control of the government, and they don’t understand, they’ll kill first and then they’ll judge us!!!
There are armed guards in every meter.
Phones , internet , any move we make is under their control and THEY WILL KILL ,this is the only thing they’ve learned.
They have all the money that we make from selling oil and they’ll do anything with it to stop us, even if your shirt is green they’ll hit you!!
But even if all of this doesn’t work for us I’m still happy, because we (the Iranian people) started something new and if it doesn’t work now it’ll work in time, like 2 or 3 years later we’d get our rights.

I’m not American, but i stand with the Iranian people. I just wish you the freedom, peace, prosperity and respect you deserve.
In most African countries, we have similar or worse problems, leaders maim thousands of people, rig elections, use force to remain in power and kill opposition members and take all the government money for their personal use, and after all that ask for aid from the west and insult and blame the west for poverty.
I hope there comes a day when all these people will face justice.
Being cuban I understand part of all you’re feeling and going through man. Many cuban people support the government in Cuba, that’s not a lie, however for those who think differently, things may get pretty difficult………..
Unfortunately there are some countries where there’s no place for opposition at all.
Of course you guys are not terrorists there !!! neither am I for being cuban, in fact Here in Canada I have a couple Iranian friends and they are very nice and friendly persons.
Someday, someday men, sooner or late they will all pay for their crimes
There are two different groups of people in Iran that shows two different ways of thinking:
1-The first group thinks that they should stand on their feet to manage their country(Iran). This group caused Islamic revolution in Iran and finished Shah Affairs. After starting a new era, they are tolerating pressure from other countries especially western ones because these countries lost their control over Iran.
2-The second group thinks they cannot do anything without western countries. Even they try to match all of their behaviors with western people to feel that they are modern and up to date. To them all things are approval of western people and powers and because they lost their control over the country, they resort to all things to gain their control.
I wrote this comment to tell other people that situation is not severe here. There were some rallies after election but now the situation is normal.
Well Mr.Iranian Curious Boy, as an Iranian who lives in Iran i like to say that why are you guys always trying to link some people to west ?! just because we want peace with world it doesn’t mean that we’re giving them the control! why are you guys always think that everyone’s spending their time to take our countries control ?! manage the country?!!!! with what?! you think that we can just sell potatoes in the country and run the country?!! have you ever heard of global village ?! we’re all in one country man we can’t live without each other we need to live with world and they need to live with us too. and why are you guys always trying to hide the facts?! you think that just because we gave up relationship with US and Israel and England … we’re free and managing the country ?!! NO we’ve gave them up but we’re giving whole lot of bribes to Russia just for the compensation. And about the situation,maybe you don’t live in Iran or if you do maybe you don’t want to see or you don’t care or maybe you’re satisfied with this situation. just because they’ve beaten people in the streets and there’s no rallies these days doesn’t mean that the situation is normal,above 25 people died ,above 1000 arrests of well know politicians,arresting Britain’s embassy diplomats,controlling phones,internet,having all guards stood by , fights within the government,i can’t call this a NORMAL situation. don’t you hear (Allah o Akbar) shouts at late night?! have you headed to any banks? the loans are all suspension cause they didn’t receive any budget yet! what about colleges?! what about businesses that have been shut downed because of bad economy that this situation brought?! ….. over all what about people’s rights that been taken away with their fraudful election?!even lots of their own followers confessed that it was fraudful!! under this pressure we don’t have any other way than using smart ways for protesting, we’re waiting for the right time to take a more serious action. Please look around.
