Next week I have a week full of meetings on things like.
- The Next Version of Web Forms
- Dynamic Data v.now and v.next
- ASP.NET 4.0
But the BIG part of the week will be spent on strategic planning for www.ASP.net web sites in the coming year.
We want to answer questions like ….
- What’s the NEXT great multi-media experience for developers ?
- What social networking features are missing and wanted on www.asp.net ?
- What improvements do we need to blogs, forums, RSS, etc.?
- What’s missing that developers really want?
- What’s broken and needs to be fixed?
So, while I’m thinking about it THIS week, why not send me an email (use th elink on this page) and let me know what YOU think of the subject !

One feature i think all developers would benifit from is to give their end users some way to build online forms out of the box I no many cms systems provides this ability and that they can store the info into xml or a table database just it be very good if a deeloper could some how have a mini form designerin the web page with its basic set of drop downs and text boxs and validatorsjust i saw a simple implmentation in episerver 4 and xforms and was very limited. It be good if u could just have an attribute like EnableLiveFormDesigner=True alsoproperts for seting the text to emails sent from the formsand also merge codes would be really goodGod BlessThank You Microsoft for inventing .net and giving me a job many dont show their apreciation enough
HI Joe,How are you… You guys are doing great jobs. But i like to suggest following points.1) Give bloggers of asp.net more freedom as right now it is very limited. For example simple blogger like me is not having options for more templates except three or four templates given in the blogs. If you want to grow community then users of community must have freedom to express their views.2) Another thing is jobs seciton almost all kind of community website have jobs section. You can also do this kind of things.3) Another Suggestion about having FAQ for asp.net as still lots myths are there for asp.net. So we will have a FAQ sections where we have basic asp.net question and answers.4) For next genration techonlogy.. Please have a mobile version of asp.net community. So it can be access from anywhere. Thanks and regards,Jalpesh P. Vadgamahttp://weblogs.asp.net/JalpeshPVadgamahttp://jalpesh.blogspot.com
With all the hullaballoo about social networking nowadays, I think each article should have a "digg this" and "post to del.icio.us." option
